What are Life Groups?
“Life Groups” are what we call the groups within our church family which give us the opportunity to connect with one another on a deeper level and grow together in our walks with Christ. We believe that we are designed to live in community with each other and that life change happens when we are walking through life together.
There is something for everyone! No matter what age or stage in life you find yourself, we want you to know that you have a place here and a church family who loves and supports you through the ups and downs that life may bring.
Many of our Life Groups are offered at 9:15 on Sunday mornings, as well as several offered throughout the week. To find out more about any of these groups or to connect with a group leader, visit our welcome desk in the lobby.
CURRENT LIFE-GROUPS
KIDS (PRE-K THROUGH ELEMENTARY)
Our children meet for Kids Church every Sunday during the message portion of our worship gathering. These times include Bible teaching, games, and crafts. Our week-long Vacation Bible School also takes place each June!
YOUTH (GRADES 6-12)
All Middle and High School students are invited to join us for FCY Wednesday Nights, which feature games, worship, prayer, and teaching/discussion. In addition to these gatherings, we have several trips and special activities happening throughout the year.
SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Each Sunday before worship, we offer an adult Bible study at 9:30AM. Currently, this group is using Max Lucado’s “Experiencing the Heart of Jesus” as the guide for this study.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ADULT BIBLE STUDY
This group is currently on hiatus. Stay tuned for a return date!
YOUNG ADULTS
Anyone from college age through 30s are invited to be a part of our Young Adult Life Group! We meet every other Monday at 7PM for a time of Bible study, prayer, and hanging out together. In addition to Mondays, we join for holiday parties, bonfires, and other fun outings throughout the year. We also join with other Northeast Ohio congregations for The Belonging, a district ministry young adults.
