Brandon Schmidt
CO-LEAD PASTOR
Born and raised in the Massillon area, Brandon has spent much of his ministry at Forty Corners. After joining the church with his family in Middle School, it was here that Brandon found his love for serving the Church, and later served as a Student Leader, Ministry Intern, and Student Ministry Pastor for nearly a decade after college. Brandon has been leading worship for over 25 years and has had the opportunity to serve other congregations in this role, as well as leading worship around the country at retreats, conferences, and churches. Brandon is a graduate of Anderson University and became an ordained minister in 2023.
Brandon has a passion for using creativity to further the Kingdom, developing and discipling young leaders, and helping others encounter the presence and love of God.
Brandon loves being with friends and family, taking his dog Jimmy on adventures, enjoying Lake Erie beaches, cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, writing and playing music, and doing all things creative.

Matt Wolford
CO-LEAD PASTOR
Matt’s story is deeply woven into the fabric of Forty Corners Church, a place he’s loved and called home his entire life. His connection and commitment to this home runs deep—his parents met in the youth group here many years ago.
Though he stepped into the pastoral role less than a year ago, his journey with the church has been a long walk through seasons of growth, challenge, and faith.
He is a devoted husband to Rachelle—approaching thirty years, a father of five, and a proud grandfather of six. Family is at the heart of his life, and he cherishes time spent with them—especially at the beach or out on the water.
Teaching is Matt’s deepest calling. His speaking style is analytical, emotionally charged, and creatively rooted in historical insight. Known for his deep care for others and his ability to bring ancient truth to life, he helps others connect with God’s Word in powerful and personal ways.
Some of Matt’s other passions include: music—singing and playing guitar or piano—writing, football, and diving deep into the rich historical and cultural context of Scripture (though, not necessarily in that order.)

Kaleigh Speer
STUDENT MINISTRY
Kaleigh grew up at Forty Corners and was blessed to be part of the youth group as a teenager. In 2017, she stepped into a leadership role with the youth and hasn’t looked back. She recently graduated from Ohio Christian University with an associate’s degree in Christian Ministry and a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies. She is currently working towards becoming a Child Life Specialist at the University of Akron.
Kaleigh’s journey with Christ began when she was 16, and her passion has always been to help young people grow in their faith. Kaleigh believes that while leading teenagers isn’t always easy, it’s the most fulfilling and joyful experience she’s ever been a part of! Her prayer is that every student who walks through the doors encounters the love of Jesus in a real and life-changing way.
In her free time, Kaleigh loves hanging out with friends, watching game shows, and being outdoors. She also loves a good thunderstorm and is obsessed with golden retrievers, which she hopes to own two of one day (named after Rose and Sophia from The Golden Girls).
